Under the partner agreement, the companies will co-market VIMANA MTConnect adapter technology and the VIMANA analytics platform with GFMS equipment. Clients using this technology will be able to monitor equipment performance in real-time, track production efficiency, and take advantage of VIMANA’s downtime classification capabilities to optimize productivity.

Speaking about bringing MTConnect capabilities to GFMS equipment with Heidenhain controls, Athulan Vijayaraghavan, VIMANA’s CTO, noted: “VIMANA Connect is the only solution that brings MTConnect support to machine tools that use Heidenhain-based controllers. VIMANA Connect will help GFMS’ customers measure and maximize their productivity. It will provide seamless integration with MTConnect-based analysis solutions, including our VIMANA platform.”
